He regularly supports international stakeholders navigating the legal, operational, and structural realities of doing business in Venezuela and the Mercosur region, including matters involving foreign investment, local regulatory coordination, commercial structuring, governance, and trusted local execution in complex environments.

Alongside his broader advisory practice, Castor has extensive experience in intellectual property, brand protection, and regulatory enforcement matters across the region, including anti-counterfeiting strategies, investigations, border measures, and related enforcement proceedings.

He holds an LL.M. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York.

Castor is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), where he currently serves on the Latin America and Caribbean Anti-Counterfeiting Committee and previously served on the Free Trade Areas Subcommittee. He is also a member of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), where he previously served as Secretary of the Anti-Piracy Committee and as Chair of the Fashion Law Committee.
